This place in it's time was awesome. They really need to spend some money. Pealing paint everywhere and general lack of maintenance. The restaurant/bar is the huge downfall. They need a huge attitude adjustment. This last time is our last. Bar manager kicked our less that 21 designated driver (with his Dad there) out after we had been there for more than an hour and only 4 other people in bar. Then after asking several times if we needed reservations, the last of our party showed up. We were told it would be over an hour wait. Asked for the manager & the most arrogant pompous non gentleman informed us that is how it is. Our elder of the group, 80ish plus, who has lived her entire life here said that was totally embarrassing. As she put it. Her & her wealthy, happy blue haired ladies won't be back.

The food was chef’s kiss spectacular—even though the cook clearly said, “No notes!” and tossed tomatoes and onions on my chicken cordon bleu like it was a garden party. I ordered it without IE Naked, and it showed up fully dressed. Thankfully,I could pick it off and my boyfriend eat the veggies, it still tasted so good I forgave it for being overdressed. The smashed red potatoes? Fluffy little clouds sent from starch heaven. My boyfriend got the Barker’s Burger and had a full-blown love affair with it. I’m not even mad. I watched him gaze at it longer than he looks at me during movie nights. Now, the waitress was… let’s say on a “choose your own adventure” timeline. My drink refill took so long I started considering licking the condensation off the glass. I was parched, friends. Trying to eat with no drink is basically a survival show challenge. But hey, I made it. Despite the hiccups, we’d definitely go back—just maybe with a water bottle and a Sharpie to write “NO TOMATOES” in all caps next time.

First time eating here while on vacation and must say the steak was great and the chicken wrap sucked. The prices are kind of pricey for the quality of food. Also, it was kind of disappointing when a waitress argued with me when I wanted to add another side to my steak order. It wasn't like I wasn't going to pay for the additional side. Chicken wrap had no real flavor. And there was like no chicken in it. I would recommend the steak. Especially if you like rare steak.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. When you walk in it’s so beautiful and contemporary. Julie, our server, also manager of the restaurant made my family and I feel at home. She made suggestions on what we should eat and made a great suggestion on the “Soup of the day.” Which was the Fisherman’s Chowder. My God it was delicious! The service, the food and the atmosphere were all wonderful and it was our first time there. We look forward to coming back. Highly recommend if you want a fresh catch of seafood with a fresh smile. Thanks Julie for making our expierence one to remember! -The Schroyer Family

This is seriously the most underrated place in Duluth/Superior. I just came here on my boat, which I can tie up. However, you can easily get here in your vehicle. Take a look at this view. Are you going to go to any other place and have a better view in this area? This is such a great place. Not a question, five out of five. What an awesome place. I had to add pictures to show you what the inside looks like. Even a pool table. One thing to add. This is the bar I took pictures of which is separate from the restaurant. They do have a restaurant, but the bar is open from 4 PM to 11 PM Sunday through Friday. Saturday is open 11 AM to 11 PM. Make sure you call ahead of time to verify these times, but I’m telling you it’s legit.

We loved it! Coming back the next day for breakfast. Cookie is such a wonderful host & waitress, the broiled walleye with the Baby reds are the best I had in a very long time! The old fashion is really, really good and affordable to have a second one;-) If you are looking for a restaurant with affordable prices, very tasteful food, outstanding seating and harbor view inside and outside and a very warm restaurant staff, than make this your favorite place to go to!!!!
